The Architecture Will Change
We have evidence that particular Ai workflows can work.
They can save time, reduce repetition, improve consistency, and make certain kinds of expertise more available.
What we do not yet have is much proof that today's architecture will remain the best architecture.
A workflow built around several agents may later be replaced by one stronger model. A complicated retrieval system may become unnecessary. A costly process may become simple.
Early productivity gains are real.
But they are not the same as lasting enterprise value.
Lasting value comes from building systems that can change without losing the business logic, judgment, and trust they were designed to protect.
The goal is not to preserve the workflow.
It is to preserve what the workflow knows.
